SUMMARY:NT Live: A Midsummer Night's Dream — Screening
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: This is not a live performance; it is a high-definition film of the stage production captured live onstage in London.  \nDirected by Nicholas Hytner\, this production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will build on the success of his immersive staging of Julius Caesar (NT Live 2018). Shakespeare’s most famous romantic comedy was captured live from the Bridge Theatre in London. \nGwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones)\, Oliver Chris (Green Wing\, NT Live: Young Marx)\, David Moorst (NT Live: Allelujah!) and Hammed Animashaun (The Barber Shop Chronicles) lead the cast as Titania\, Oberon\, Puck\, and Bottom. The Bridge Theatre will become a forest—a dream world of flying fairies\, contagious fogs\, and moonlight revels. All of which is surrounded by a roving audience following the action on foot.

SUMMARY:NT Live: Fleabag — Screening
DESCRIPTION:See the hilarious\, award-winning\, one-woman show that inspired the BBC’s hit TV series Fleabag\, broadcast live to cinemas from London’s West End. \nWritten and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag\, Killing Eve) and directed by Vicky Jones\, Fleabag is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life. \nFleabag may seem oversexed\, emotionally unfiltered\, and self-obsessed\, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig café struggling to keep afloat\, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose. \nPlaying to sold-out audiences in New York and London\, don’t miss your chance to see this ‘legitimately hilarious show’ (New Yorker)\, captured live\, at a cinema near you. \nPresented by DryWrite\, Soho Theatre\, and Annapurna Theatre \nNOTE: This is not a live performance; it is a high-definition film of the stage production captured live onstage in London.

SUMMARY:NT Live: Frankenstein - Screening
DESCRIPTION:Frankenstein returns to international cinemas to mark the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s most famous novel. \nCaptured live in 2011 from the National Theatre stage in London\, this thrilling\, sold-out production became an international sensation\, experienced by almost half a million people in cinemas around the world. \nDirected by Academy Award®-winner Danny Boyle (Trainspotting\, Slumdog Millionaire)\, Frankenstein features Benedict Cumberbatch (Hamlet\, BBC’s Sherlock) and Jonny Lee Miller (Elementary\, Trainspotting) alternating between the roles of Victor Frankenstein and his creation. \nChildlike in his innocence but grotesque in form\, Frankenstein’s bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes\, the increasingly desperate and vengeful Creature is determined to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal. \nScientific responsibility\, parental neglect\, cognitive development\, and the nature of good and evil are embedded within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic tale. \nNOTE: This is not a live performance; it is a high-definition film of the stage production captured live onstage in London.
