Marisol follows Marisol Perez, a copy editor for a Manhattan publisher who grew up and lives in the Bronx.  Striving to maintain her burgeoning middle-class existence,  she is confronted with the cruel realities of inequality as she narrowly escapes assault on the subway.  When her Guardian Angel appears and declares “the universal body is sick,” Marisol is thrust into a world she didn’t think possible.
