- Marketing for the Hammer Theatre is created by the SJSU H&A Marketing student team consisting of five groups — web, graphic design, editorial, media, and digital marketing. H&A Marketing is directed by the Director of Marketing & Communications, Sheryl Spann.
- Hammer Theatre marketing materials include brochures, ads, posters, flyers, and programs.
- H&A Marketing also maintains visual and content marketing for the new Hammer website which was recently built by the Director, Sidecar, and an SJSU student.
- The team writes and distributes the monthly Applause e-newsletter and promotional e-blasts.
- Design, copy, and visual elements of the theatre’s marketing is done by H&A Marketing with examples of Hammer marketing below:
