SJSU Dept of Film & Theatre Presents: 1984

Adaptation of the 1949 George Orwell novel adapted by Robert Owens, Wilton Hall Jr., and William A. Miles. In a society where Big Brother is constantly watching, Winston is brought before the Thought Police who mentally and physically coerce him to confess his “Thoughtcrimes”.  Powerful and savage, 1984 takes us into a world of mass surveillance, where freedom of expression can be your downfall.
