The goal of Bang Bang You’re Dead! is to help middle and high school students understand the tragedies and complexities of school violence and to take preventive actions against it.

An Abridged Adaptation

An abridged adaptation of Shakespeare’s masterpiece presented by the SJSU Department of Film and Theatre’s Fall 2019 Advanced Acting Company. The production focuses on the cyclical re-telling of the titular character’s through line, imagining how Hamlet becomes Hamlet, and how he affects those in relationship with his journey. Join our brave students as they inhabit the characters who live these words and ask these questions.

Gay As Christmas

A Staged Reading

Christmas is a little more inclusive this year with a world-premiere staged reading of a comedy by Scott Winfield Sublett. Plucky Pringle the Elf has a secret crush on Santa, while his best friend, girl elf Fiona, wants Mrs. Claus’s delicious cookies. But the wicked billionaire Nutcracker twins have stolen Christmas with intellectual property law and rockets—and Pringle and Fiona have to help Santa save it.
